NOTEBOOK II
I know well, O Lord, that You have no need of our works; You demand love. Love, love and once again, love of God ― there is nothing greater in heaven or on earth. The greatest greatness is to love God; true greatness is in loving God; real wisdom is to love God. All that is great and beautiful is in God; there is no beauty or greatness outside of Him. O you sages of the world and you great minds, recognize that true greatness is in loving God! Oh, how astonished I am that some people deceive themselves, saying: There is no eternity!
(Diary 990)
Reflection: Jesus said to him: “You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. (Matthew 22:37,38)
God of Love! How many ways can you say it to us! Your Word and Your Saints tell us beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are made to Love You. Help us, this day, to focus our attention, our desire and our effort into learning to love You. To love You is the greatest commandment. To love You is where true greatness is found. Love, love and once again love! Help us to ponder this message. Help us to live it! Help us to Love!
Jesus said to him: “You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. (Matthew 22:37,38)

Today, Divine Mercy is the fastest growing devotion in the Catholic Church. So what exactly is Divine Mercy? You may know it as an image revealed to St. Faustina. Or a special form of prayer, or perhaps as a new feast day instituted by Pope John Paul II. While all of those are true, Divine Mercy is even greater.
